Judges

Any FCI-recognized IGP Judge may officiate in CWBSA trials. This includes CWDF, AWDF, and FCI member country judges.

Helpers

As a CWDF member club, the CWBSA intends to participate in and recognize the CWDF helper accreditation program once it is active.

In the meantime, to be allowed to do Helper work in a CWBSA trial, an individual must provide either:

  • a photocopy of their helper book (from any CWDF member organization, or FCI recognized organization) showing all trials that they have taken part in
    OR

  • CV with trial or mock trial footage of at least two dogs doing a full IGP3 routine (blind search may be skipped) and at least one reference (see note below) from an experienced helper, National competitor, club official, or CWBSA board member (additional footage may be requested if deemed necessary)
    OR

  • official trial documents listing them as the helper (such as results list on organization website) and at least one reference (see note below) from an experienced helper, National competitor, club official, or CWBSA board member.  

Providing these documents will allow helpers to do Helper work at CWBSA trials for up to one year, and once the CWDF helper accreditation program becomes active it will replace this program.

 Applicant Helpers: Please note that when providing a letter of support with your application, it should be written by someone familiar with your work in trials, or who is very familiar with your trial practice work in training and can vouch for your competence as a trial helper, ability to do safe work, and understanding of the routines and rules.
